以經營中文網站為主的新浪網(SINA.com)今天宣布，該公司已經向美國証管會 提交上市申請書，申請首度公開發行普通股。新浪網本次將發行400萬股普通股，並給予承銷商60萬股普通股的超額配售。新浪網申請在美國那斯達克市場 掛牌上市，股票代碼為「SINA」。上市籌集的資金將被用作營運資本及用於其他經營用途。

摩根士丹利添惠公司(Morgan Stanley Dean Witter)和中國國際金融有限公司(China International Capital Corporation Limited)將作為聯合主承銷商，負責此次股票發 售。大通証券公司(Chase Securities Inc.)和羅伯遜－斯蒂芬公司 (FleetBoston Robertson Stephens Inc. )兩家公司為包銷商。

SINA.com Files for Initial Public Offering

(Sunnyvale, CA, March 27, 2000) SINA.com, a Chinese-focused Internet company announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with its initial public offering of ordinary shares. SINA.com will offer a total of 4,000,000 ordinary shares, plus an underwriters' option to purchase an additional 600,000 ordinary shares to cover over-allotments. The Company has filed an application to list the shares on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol "SINA". Net proceeds of the offering are expected to be used for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and China International Capital Corporation Limited are acting as the joint lead managing underwriters for the offering. Chase Securities Inc. and FleetBoston Robertson Stephens Inc. are acting as co-managers.

A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.
